The Council of Academic Programs in Communication Sciences and Disorders (CAPCSD) represents over 250 academic programs in the U.S. and abroad encompassing over 2,000 academic, clinical and administrative staff committed to educating undergraduate and graduate students in Communication Science and Disorders (CSD).

Our mission and vision commit us to the highest standards of academic and clinical excellence. We educate and develop the next generation of leaders, researchers and clinicians whose job it is to enhance the lives of those with communication disorders.

Our vibrant annual conference, discussion forums, and web resources enable all members to share ideas, learn new strategies, network with colleagues, share solutions, and foster collaboration to ensure our collective success.
