Scholarship of Teaching and Learning

Welcome to the entry point for one of CAPCSD’s strategic educational initiatives. Michael Kimbarow, current CAPCSD President, has made the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning a top priority for sustaining the leadership and academic excellence within CAPCSD and its member institutions.

The Scholarship of Teaching and Learning has been around for some time, but is relatively new within CSD. Its focus is on providing faculty with research that supports and cultivates academic excellence in the classroom. A dedicated committee is working to procure resources to support best practices and pedagogical innovations. Through their guidance, this important initiative will be explored both through this website and at our annual conferences.
