Abstract
The Admissions Summit is designed to be a workshop that allows for content delivery focused on evidence-based education around admissions, support for member programs in developing new or adjusted admissions processes, in addition to mobilizing a community of members within programs that are committed to prioritizing inclusive and equitable admissions processes. It will focus on exploring and dismantling systems and processes in admissions that have perpetuated the exclusion of marginalized students who are capable of and qualified for graduate work. The summit has been designed to provide both content knowledge and time to "workshop" the ideas presented. Attendees will be able to collaborate and strategize in small group discussions so they can walk away from the summit with implementable strategies to integrate the changes in admissions processes at the individual program level. The ultimate goal of the summit is to develop a community mobilized for collaborative work after the summit concludes.

Participants will also be expected to submit short- and long-term outcomes of their progress in implementing the holistic review strategies as a result of attending this summit.
Learner Expectations & CEUs
This course is designed with a participation requirement that ensures meaningful engagement and learning. Participants must be present for the entire academy to receive the assessment. The assessment is a key component in obtaining both their certificate of completion and ASHA CEUs. In addition to standard assessments of the speaker's effectiveness and the overall content quality, participants are challenged to demonstrate practical application of the knowledge gained. The required question prompts participants to articulate and list two specific action items they plan to implement per 60-minutes. This promotes critical thinking about how to apply new information in their professional practice with a forward-thinking response.
